@McLoud I get the impression that this community is mostly left wingers either angrily downvoting posts, angrily downvoting comments, or angrily replying to the right wing/far right articles that get posted here. I kinda get an r/AskTrumpSupporters vibe from this community, with the exception that the right wingers here seem to be markedly more intelligent.
the core downfall of mastodon is that every instance is an opportunity to censor potentially thousands of individuals on the grounds of vague reasons such as “in appropriate content”
their entire architecture is based around the idea that a single instance admin has the power to decide what its users are allowed to see, and you can’t easily move to another relay without rebuilding your social graph.
why people still use this protocol is mind boggling to me.
let users control their own feed ffs. Individuals and clients should have this power, not relay tinpot dictators.
Not to say that #Trump is 100% innocent BTW, if #JoeBiden should be prosecuted for illegally having classified documents, so should #Trump. It goes both ways.
> You’re also forgetting that Biden handed those documents over willingly and without delay whereas Trump claimed he didn’t have them and then, when pressured, admitted he did have them but claimed he was allowed to.
So? The law doesn't care; the criminal activity is having the documents, not refusing to return them or lying about having them.
But I'm a freedom of speech homie so I wouldn't complain about it too much; if the speech offends you, you should be able to block or mute him yourself on your end.
> He’s well-liked among two groups: the ultrarich because he makes them money with his schemes and the wannabe rich because they are willing to do anything to get ahead. He was never well-liked by other groups.
@LookBehindYouNowAndThen I'm not sure if he's a supremacist, more likely a racial separatist/"race realist". Wouldn't be shocked if he's racist, but yeah #TheProtocolsOfTheEldersOfZion is quite the deep cut, and his alt-right views are probably the only way he even knows what that is (I only know what that is when I started researching the origins of the #Israel v. #Palestine conflict and it came up as I was skimming #Wikipedia)
> MSM would not be villainizing other candidates to this degree because Trump IS a villain.
You're just parroting #MSM talking points here, not proving that I'm wrong.
> He’s the poster child for scummy businessmen…a caricature, really. I would not be saying the same things because I’ve been well aware of what a selfish asshole Trump is for 20 years…and he’s only gotten worse.
Then why was he so well liked while he was a businessman? Nobody hated him until the #MSM criticized him.
I don't either! I do try to understand them though. They walk among us, after all.
> How the fuck is a “racial separatist” not a racist?
They're still racist; the difference is that a white supremacist thinks that white people are better than other people, and racial separatists think that all races are equal, but should be segregated from each other.
Starting a company feels a lot like starting a family. There is planning, money management and savings, hell even hiring is a bit like having a new child. You even need to childproof the house (add onboarding documentation) as you plan for new hires.
I have to say, despite being fairly on I do feel this family I am building is an amazing one!
Just a reminder, third-parties are the only parties do not support Israel's genocide on Palestine and their war of aggression throughout the middle east. Both Trump and Biden have been the biggest supporters of Israel.. Anything other than a third-party vote this year is a vote in favor of genocide.
If anything, this is what gets #JoeBiden reelected, because the left wingers have nowhere else to go and #Trump is actually a stronger supporter of #Israel than #JoeBiden is
@freemo It'd be the health care companies that'd actually need to make the change. They only charge so much because insurance covers 80% of costs. The vast majority of people can't afford the MSRPs of health care, so they'd either go without care or go to another country for care, greatly decreasing revenues in the health care sector. To turn things around, they would then need to bring down their prices so that they can get those customers back.

Cities should probably do research on the flags they fly.
Why are most of the posts here heavily downvoted?
Why would you visit the “conservative” section just to downvote everything? I don’t get it.
