Any opinions about #helix (the code editor written in #Rust, strongly inspired by #neovim?
It looks fine but I couldn't configure a simple #Python LSP that made it usable for me. I think I will stick with neovim for the time being, although I agree that relying too much on plugins can be a ticking bomb. (For instance, I just learned today that one formatting plugin I use stopped being maintained a few months ago :omya_blobcat:.)

The thing I am most interested in is time travel. I would be real interested in connecting with people on mastodon that have same interests 👌🏾
I tried writing a book last year but lost interest. Need more inspiration 🙏🏿

I would suggest The Time Traveler's Almanac, a (huge!) short story anthology about time travel, collected by Ann and Jeff VanderMeer (relatively easy to find as well).
There's also Time Travel: A History, the book by @JamesGleick, about the evolution of the idea.

Qué buen libro es La guerra de las salamandras, de Karel Čapek. Hace años lo propusieron en una tertulia en la que estaba, leí una página y, en buena parte por la lista de pendientes que tenía en ese momento, no leí más. Por lo menos los libros así se quedan esperando.

Entre más veo , más enganchado me siento (estoy siguiendo una mezcla de los episodios nuevos y viejos, siguiendo principalmente los nuevos y Deep Space 9). Me da un poco de tristeza no tener con quién hablar del tema. Mi pareja ha visto los nuevos conmigo pero le da pereza meterse tanto.

Parece que más o menos en un mes tendremos que mudarnos a por temas de trabajo (mi pareja, el perrete y yo). Si todo sale bien estaremos varios años. ¿Consejos y/o sugerencias? Librerías, restaurantes, panaderías, café de especialidad, parques, todo bienvenido.
