I'm here at Representative #ValerieFoushee's office in #DurhamNC with more than 30 other moms/constituents and our children (many of whom are Jewish like me) to call for her to sign on to support #ceasefire now along with humanitarian aid for #Palestinians and a stop to US funding of the #Israeli war machine.

20 years ago today I sat down and created a group blog to discuss local politics in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough, NC. Thus https://OrangePolitics.org was born. It changed my life and probably a few others. It definitely changed Orange County discourse at a time when journalism was shrinking and most people didn't have their own social media platforms.
