Dear crisp munching, cider swigging, Mini Melton Mowbray Pork Pie packing, Red Bull guzzling ignoramus, stop throwing litter out of your vehicle window — you’re making a hell of a mess of the countryside. 😡

If you can’t find a bin, take it home with you. Alternatively, store it in that cavity where most people keep their brain.

Twice a year or so (approx every 400-500miles) I get new running shoes. This time around I’ve opted for a pair of Altra FWD Experience.

30km in and the new shoes are feeling great!

You don’t need lots of fancy kit to go running but a good pair of trainers can make a whole heap of difference!

If you’re on the #IsleOfWight and need advice on #running shoes (or just some new gear), ‘Love Running’ is THE place to go.

An exciting end to the month — running in snow❄️ (albeit very light and not yet settling).

Despite another month of torrential rain and flooded roads I clocked up 128KM during November. 🏃🏻‍♂️

VO₂ max levels and average running pace are steadily getting back to pre-Covid levels. VO₂ currently stands at 47.8.

Your mission is to get the shuttle from one side of the screen to the other, landing it on the base, while avoiding planets and space ships. It is made more challenging by the base randomly appearing and disappearing.

WTL, 7 months ago to running

Thursday: 105 seconds of plank, 30 pushups, warmup stretches, and 1km of walking plus 10km of #running. It was already warm and muggy out (17°C). It's kind of amusing because in it feels like the planking is harder than the running.

Also; these temperatures, in #Ottawa, in October, are simply wrong. It should be a cozy 5 to 10°C right now, not turn-on-the-air-conditioning-hot. <long sigh>

MARVELLOUS MAY 🏃🏻‍♂️

It’s been a good month for running. Steady pacing combined with speed work continues to see an improvement in my cardio fitness with VO₂ max levels breaking the 49 mark.

119km for the month; no niggles or twinges to report; warmer, brighter mornings, and a run in London with a friend from Uni made for a rather marvellous May!
