Warum sollte jemand für eine faschistoide Partei arbeiten, wenn er deren verschissene "Werte" nicht teilt?

@mina Zu späte Aufregung ist besser als gar keine Aufregung. Die großen Demos gegen rechts haben mMn gezeigt, dass es sinnvoll ist, so was alltägliches als Enthüllung zu framen, von der angeblich niemand was gewusst hat.

80% der Deutschen haben in einer repräsentativen Umfrage "mass migration" als "biggest risc" bezeichnet. Der Wert ist deutlich höher als in allen anderen beteiligten Ländern und mit Abstand der höchste erhobene Wert.

Falls mal jemand ne Hausnummer braucht wie kaputt der Diskurs hierzulande schon ist.

What's the deal with "keen sense of justice"? I am not sure what it's called in English, but I keep reading that it's an autism thing and I definitely have been accused of an "exaggerated" sense of justice or having too much of it. Why do we have that?

While I remember how horrible it was for me as a kid that everyone around me told me the rules were meant to be broken and I'd just have to keep quiet about it, I also wonder how much of my question got lost in translation. The German term I keep reading is "Gerechtigkeitssinn". This doesn't necessarily mean adhering to current laws, it can also mean to find current laws and rules to be unjust.

Ich hoffe dass in Deutschland die AfD bald verboten wird, aber es ist zum kotzen dass mittlerweile in ganz Europa, und in anderen Ländern wie in den USA, Nazis nach der Macht greifen.

Und wir haben echt andere Probleme die wir uns kümmern müssen die wir nur Gemeinsam lösen können.

@CindySue @bookstodon My two favourite books at the moment are fantasy (kind of between middle grade and YA) But I can look through my nonfiction books, if fantasy isn't for you (it wasn't for me either, I just read those two because they were very queer and wholesome.) I'm in a reading slump, too, the only thing that gets me reading is when the looming deadline of the library approaches :D

I'd like to be snarky about this, but it's sad to watch 's slow death. That stupid, beautiful site has been vital to me in my development as a poet. And as someone who can probably be described as Very Online, I used to find the site good in a bunch of other ways as well. But at some point, you have to go. He's deleting old tweets to save a bit of money on storage space. And meanwhile, all the tweets on the Arab Spring, the Mumbai attacks, etc, are gone. They're just...gone.
