It’s hail and rain right now. In 1h I need to departure to pick my son up from the school. Oh what a pleasant day it has been. Get cold in the morning, wet in the afternoon…🙈😩 I wonder what will the evening bring…🤡

Also, if you ever wondered if you stood a chance against a steel wire on a bicycle - you don’t. I was getting around a car leaving parking place and did not notice a hanging cable guarding parking spots. Turned right into it and slid on it. I didn’t fall, only scuffed the frame a bit, but I guess I took most of the hit on my leg… I’m glad I wasn’t going faster than 5km/h…😂

@wlukewindsor No idea... I guess it's the city's historical center and it's short of parking space. Easy to unhook, go in/out, hook again... I kinda knew it's there, but the unusual situation with a car and darkness (it was around midnight) made the difference...😩

I’m still here! No has been done today… Yet! I’m still planning on going around 10:30pm…🤡 It was a busy day with . There was a exposition at so kids could see some of the modern equipment. And I had to prepare the car for another visit in the garage, because it’s still not running…

So... It was about time for some love.

New tires. Again, as the old ones did almost 15k km.

New right crank arm with narrow wide oval chainring. Finally, bottom bracket is as designed, with only 3 spacers and it all fits like a glove.

For all those who like to mix and match gear - Shimano axle is to long for SLX crank arm, despite them calling it all the same ...

I have just replaced my first cable... Looked difficult at the beginning, but it was actually quite easy. All I needed was a tiny Torx T6 from iFixit and some patience to tie a knot with electronic tweezers on a tiny steel wire... 😜

I have no idea how or why, but the left lace, which has been working almost fine was even more mangled inside…😂

Anyways, fixed both shoes. I can now ride without the fear of having my feet forever entrapped (because I could release the cables just enough I could force my feet out) in shoes…

Shopping spree day... Due to the suffering over the incompatibility of Deore axle and SLX left crank arm, I've ordered an entire SLX crankset and an oval direct mount chainring, so I can stop running with silly extra spacers with the bottom bracket.

Also, I've just realised I've done 15kkm on one set of tires. No surprise I've recently started to have more punctures...

#Ubiquity's #UniFi system has been expensive, true. But that's been one of the best purchases I've made in years. It's easy to use, looks nice and just works stable as a rock... 😍

@mackozer Architektura to fajny bonus. Ale ta bliskość wszystkiego to jest dla mnie taki mieszkaniowy deal breaker... Nie chciałbym mieszkać gdzieś indziej... Starołęka nie jest tak daleko, a im człowiek starszy tym jakoś dziwnie te dystanse się kurczą...
