I w tym filmiku pan angol powiedział jak pomóc sobie trytytkami. Co ja sugerowałam wcześniej, ale nie mam takiej reputacji jak randomowy pan angol z YT.

I guess it's time for an update on what I've been working on over the last year: A new app, completely rebuilt and rethought from the ground up. This probably won’t replace the current Reeder (not going away) for a lot of users.

It's not just an RSS reader. The app allows you to access content from various other sources like Podcasts, YouTube, Mastodon, and more.

It won't sync everything, only your saved items (favorites etc).

No more unread counts, it remembers the scroll positions instead.

sun woke us up somewhere out there, made the first cup of coffee, went for shit-business, prepared breakfast (oatflakes with a fruit like pommegranate or banana, the juice of one lemon, sugar and water), ate, chilled, drank another coffee, chilled, drank more coffee, packed very slowly our stuff... started pedaling... after some km made a break, ate chips or cooked lunch, had coffee... pedaled... on, slowly slowly, another couple of km until we sat up camp and marveled sunset

When you download and install a new app on your phone or tablet and it asks for certain permissions to use for example your location or access to contacts or photos, first ask yourself: "what could this function be of use to this app?" If you can't find a good reason just "don't allow" it

If the app does not work without that certain permission you can always change it later

Better to be safe and don't overshare data 😉

NEW: Food prices in Europe have been soaring. Earlier this year, the Austrian government said it would build a price database to let people compare costs at different supermarkets. It said this would take months to make and only include a small number of product categories.

Within 2 hours, @badlogic had built a first prototype, pulling the data from supermarket's websites, and open sourced the project. Now Heisse Preise lists 177,000 products from 10 chains.

The transparency has allowed prices to be compared: and the results appear to show supermarkets are watching each other and adjusting their prices based on others. The competition authority is investigating and already said new laws should make supermarkets publish proper APIs with full item data

Unia Europejska wzywa #Apple do otwarcia swojego ekosystemu.

Apple surowo odmawia udostępnienia firmom trzecim swojego wewnętrznego ekosystemu sprzętu, oprogramowania i usług. Opór może jednak być bezskuteczny, Unia Europejska wymogła już na Apple zmiany gniazda ładowania, teraz czas na dostęp do alternatywnych usług.

Jak podaje agencja informacyjna Reuters , komisarz UE Thierry Breton spotkał się niedawno z szefem #Apple Timem Cookiem, aby omówić wdrożenie ustawy o rynkach cyfrowych (#DMA). Przyjęta przez UE ustawa zakłada m.in. przełamanie monopoli w sektorze cyfrowym i stworzenie większej przestrzeni dla konkurencji i mniejszych firm. W tym kontekście UE wzywa #Apple między innymi do otwarcia swojej platformy na usługi pochodzące ze źródeł zewnętrznych.

Komisarz UE powiedział agencji Reuters, że kolejnym zadaniem #Apple będzie otwarcie swoich drzwi na konkurencję. Dotyczy to portfeli elektronicznych i przeglądarek, a także sklepów z aplikacjami. Zdaniem Bretona użytkownicy iPhone'a powinni mieć możliwość korzystania z szerokiej gamy konkurencyjnych usług. Według raportu #Apple ma czas do 5 marca 2024 r. na otwarcie swoich systemów dla zewnętrznych sklepów z aplikacjami lub umożliwienie tzw. side-loadingu aplikacji z sieci.

UE bada obecnie również, czy #Apple musi zapewnić kompatybilność swojej platformy #iMessage z innymi usługami przesyłania wiadomości. #Apple dotychczas kategorycznie odrzucał takie podejście, powołując się na możliwe zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa swoich użytkowników. W rzeczywistości wielu użytkowników prawie nie przejmuje się zamkniętym systemem #Apple, a nawet cieszy się z zalet, jakie się z nim wiążą, takich jak większe bezpieczeństwo i dobra współpraca różnych urządzeń i systemów. #Apple nie zajęło jeszcze oficjalnego stanowiska w sprawie ostatnich wypowiedzi Bretona.
