My husband’s family was poor. School lunch sustained him, sometimes his only meal. He went to public schools and excelled. He has an advanced degree in Physics Engineering and worked on NASA programs before becoming a software architect. Under GOP rule, he wouldn’t have gotten a school lunch, and wouldn’t have made the contributions he has. I have no idea what design flaw makes conservatives such miserable humans.
