bro you can't draw a whole ass ornamental dropcap and sit there and write an entire page about how you don't have time to proofread

vic,
@vic@howcyborgs.chat avatar

@jonny There was a 16th century Polish monk/priest whose idea was to write the first Polish encyclopedia - when he got to "horse", he must have been tired already, because he wrote one of Poland's first meme catchphrases: "A horse - everyone can see what a horse is like." 🤷‍♂️

If your "AI powered color palette generator" has as much trouble understanding color requirements as human designers, then you are doing the opposite of helping.

Now I am promised 2 problems, and 2 conversations where I'm trying to explain what WCAG AAA means and why it matters: one with your Spicy Clippy, and one with an actual human who'll clean up after your gizmo is done.

Hard pass. I reckon my odds are better with the human.
Do better or GTFO.

Got some colors, but they are mostly not passing WCAG AAA. Trying to get the color picker to fix WCAG AAA normal text passing against the first color in the feedback prompt.
aaaand... nope. Still not passing on the revision.

    The way Donna Haraway sees "us" and "living together" and "companionship" was always a joy, ever since her cyborg essay. This book made me smile and hope again which was kinda a big deal in 2023

    Good to be set up on @Codeberg . I used to use Github + Beeminder integration to keep learning to code, but can't bear to look at any AI-powered malarky any more (ergo Gitlab is also out, sry). Codeberg's got me an RSS feed so can beemind commits that way.

    If AI makes it easier to create generic, middle-of-the-road content, the way forward for human beings is to create content that is out there on the edges, blazing ground that probabilistic algorithms could never possibly reach. Which, honestly, I wish more people would do anyway. The middle of the road has nothing new to say.
