It was pretty obvious that this would be so - but just noting that the Fediverse outlived the Metaverse.

Even with untold billions of dollars and multiple big tech entities pushing it, the Metaverse didn't live much past 3 years old.

At least in this incarnation.

One of the things that always stuns me about these superintelligence believer clowns is that they talk about as if it's some kind of autonomous entity forged in the skull of a few genius men. Fox News might get more careful about slandering corporations, but that doesn't mean it'll stop pushing Trump's Big Lie, because...hey, it sells.

And that’s really what this is all about: Money.

Fox News will do whatever is necessary to keep the money flowing in its direction.
