Whenever we encounter a photo booth, @KevBot and I will usually try to stop and take some photos to document our day.

As a result, we've ended up with a LOT of photo booth strips, but my favorite is the one in the lower right of this photo where a woman was watching us take photos in the booth and, at the very last second, I asked if she wanted to be in our photo and she jumped in.

Lady, if you're out there, you were a great sport and we remember you fondly.

Wow I just read the email, and the tone is more like “you’re gonna genocide and you’re gonna like it bitch”. The irony of linking to the anti-discrimination and harassment policies is the most “saying the quiet part out loud” reminder that those policies, and all of HR, only exist to protect the company, not the workers.

@richard_merren not hard to fathom why people would stay. Idk about these specific people, but healthcare is tied to work, as can be immigration. And they may have thought they could affect more change by protesting from the inside instead of just quitting and making it someone else’s problem. At this scale, probably (and evidently) not, but that’s why unions need to exist.

I’m not vegan, but I’ve had two wonderful plant-based dining experiences today here in San Francisco. Vida Cantina at a drag brunch: wonderful. Om Sabor, probably one of my fave SF restaurants vegan or not, always delivers. I definitely have a preference for vegan food made by Mexican chefs! (Om Sabor has one of my top burgers in the city. The others are not vegan, and I think it would be no 1 or 2 even compared to a regular burger)
