This machine is running grbl and it shares some parts with the BQ Hephestos 3d printer.

It is not hard do make the change (I've been thinking about that since).

@tca the result of the brush strokes looks awesome!
I noticed you lower the brush and raise only while XY are both standing still.
Have you thought about combining Z movements while performing a stroke?
Either to lower into a stroke, or to raise out of it.
