Apparently washing it down with coffee kind of nullifies it. As vit D is fat soluble it needs to be taken with fatty or oily food, e.g. some nuts, for a better effect.
@salakala I just started taking vitamin d the past week, good to know.
Also, I don't know if I can generalize this but as someone on ADHD meds (methylphenidate) I've reduced my coffee intake to maybe just one cup on the weekends, my only source of caffeine, and that has been a significant boost to feeling better. Especially with afternoon crashes, they're not anywhere near as brutal. Don't know if you experience that though.
Thanks for sharing, @zyd! That's a feat! I've been thinking of quitting coffee but it's difficult like working out in the morning 😅 On the bright side I've lowered coffee consumption but 1x week as an award sounds great, TBH!
Still finding it hard to believe after what doc told me and seeking validation or confirmation from other "brains" (regarding never-ending #ADHD fatigue). That would explain a lot. I guess I'll have to do more drugs then.
By drugs I mean upping the dosage. Or microdosing #shrooms. Or both. Who knows? We're on the Internet, baby!
@salakala Spectacular!I've had treatment resistant depression, anxiety and ptsd for years. It's been bad. No meds have helped. I had my first experience with 🍄mushrooms few months ago and I can't say how hopeful I have been I noticed a lift in my depression and anxiety. I'm still at the start of my journey with (zeustrippz) on IG who is helping me with recommendations and guidance it works. l would look into larger dose before microdosing. But I'm no expert https://www.instagram.com/zeustrippz/
