pscherbaum,

What's the best way to record tracks (speaker overlay) for |? Or audio for a .

Headset? External microphone? Directly connected to the laptop, or to the mobile phone?

And which software are you using for recording, either on or on ?

Thanks for your recommendations!

@pscherbaum

Get a decent USB condenser mic. No need to spend an arm and a leg; the one listed below will do just fine. Use a pop filter and learn a bit of microphone technique. Speak into the mic up close; that's how you avoid echos. It takes a little practice.

Audacity works well on a Linux desktop. If you want to work on Android, get a USB OTG cable and use Lexis Audio Editor. Regardless of what you use, pay attention to your input volume to avoid clipping.

@xahteiwi @pscherbaum He got my Thomann USB One now, for testing. Audacity also works nice, thanks for the recommendation.
