@vitaminsludge ah it's a "sort of" really.
I could install Threads at home in NI, take it across the border into the Republic, and if they're doing something the EU doesn't like with my data, by dint of my having installed Threads, and me an EU citizen, they could be at risk.

If I'm in a non-EU country and communicating with people back in Ireland over Threads, and it's all being tracked, could also be tricky af, like if they've tracked that I talked to my Ma, is her privacy involved.
