Israel—with Biden’s full support—is waging a war of revenge with no regard for the lives of civilians.
Hamas, once again, has failed to recognize that killing civilians is not just morally reprehensible but politically counter-productive. They aren’t like Israel and Saudi Arabia, which can #kill thousands of #civilians with #impunity and still receive massive military and diplomatic support from the United States.
@GW "no regard to civilian lives"- than why (in contrast to Hamas) IDF, e.g. announce attacks on buildings, so the civilians can flee? And the Hamas tells them to stay? This is well documented. Who has no regard to civilian lives here - maybe the one who even attacks out of civilian areas with rockets?

And yes, I don't call this perfectly humane or whatnot. But if someone cannot see the differences in practice of Hamas and IDF here, I don't know what to say. I don't think any Kibbutz got a warning from Hamas before the terrorists entered and butchered everybody.
