When #Israel does that kind of project, that kind of announcement, and dare to materialize it - mass bombing, mass killing, mass destruction, mass starvation, mass flooding... - it can't be denied it's the "terrorist" one & it's committing a #genocide. What #west is doing is to participate. None of these politicians, these governments, has any credibility. They should be ashamed of themselves. Disgust is all what they can inspire. I don't even know how they can listen to themselves.
Yes, the latter. They're not the "cause" type. More the fickle one. There's too much things they do not care. Inside or outside their countries. A #genocide is the extension, the paroxysm of the denying they make at the base. It's the same thing but amplified : bigger, louder, vaster, deadlier, worse, etc... But the denial in front of that, what it asks these governments to be official assholes, is the same. We're not in presence of people who were cool before that. They started it.

Is it really the #Israel argument, about #HannibalDirective, that it's because it has "high regards for human life" that it kills people first ? What a logic. Moreover knowing how they really act with hostages (or how they play with #palestinians lives). I think Mearsheimer is ironical but the truth is, I don't know what Israelis could claim otherwise, apart from that hypocrisy, that empty logic, to apply that directive. When it's more a proof (if needed) it shouldn't exist at all.

But you're right, it's like when they say "we're a welcoming country...so move & go back where you come from !", to migrants or whatever. Welcoming in what ? I think there are some holes in their "logic" 🙂
@DrALJONES I think I wanted to use "that" and meaning that the reason why Israeli media is more factual about the genocide is because Israeli society is more receptive of Israeli war crimes than the West.
