The thing I did not realize about the sentence "You need to learn to say 'No'.", is that most of the time when you have to say "No", nobody actually asked you a question beforehand. #WellBeing#MentalHeath
@uncanny_static Sometimes I get the impression that those of us who need to learn to say "no" could perhaps approach the problem from the other side and simply practice saying "yes" to ourselves more often, doing more for ourselves instead of focusing predominantly on "the others". At least for me, saying "no" has in a way to do with worrying about others not getting what they need if I say no, while for myself I hardly ever have such thoughts and tend to forget about my own needs.
