Except if you need a charger enroute, to extend range on a single trip. The time waiting is a factor.

So, umm... stronger than most level2 public chargers.

@jann @mrblissett that's still gonna be a five hour wait to get just half a charge in something like a Lucid.

I admire the spirit of the article, but some of the nuances seem missed. Installing NEMA 14-50s and calling that "infrastructure" might make sense for apartment complexes or perhaps hotels, but it's not at all suitable for road tripping.

I agree with the author about making charging simpler, but it's the experience that matters more than the hardware.
