@trinsec The difference here is that you can actually run the Vivaldi instance from within the Vivaldi browser (if one chooses). Also, there are people who are not happy with their current instance and are looking for a new home - with privacy. So basically it is an advertisement to join the Vivaldi community, as I am a volunteer ambassador, and that's part of what we do!
@MrJMGregory Any instance worth their salt has a TOS that helps to establish what is and isn't tolerated for members. When someone joins a fediverse instance, they agree to those terms. So when server owners see the reasons for blocking @ noauthority.social (below), it's pretty evident why all instances are not the same. It's a toleration thing.
