rvawonk,

Sports Illustrated has apparently been publishing AI-generated articles by “authors” who don’t exist beyond their AI-generated photos. This is a much bigger problem than most people realize, and the implications are quite dire — consider, for example, that the same thing is happening in medical and scientific journals (it is).

There need to be a legal requirement to identify AI from human writers so that we can never purchase/boycott garbage like

Do you have any examples of this?

@rvawonk In fairness, it is sports reporting, which except for names, is highly repetitive and noncreative. Perfect use for AI.
