Is it legal to create a bot which copies and posts every question there is in forums and on Reddit into lemmy.ml?
I am only talking about text posts and some images and all. What would be the downside of this?
I mean, I am pretty sure this ain’t happening as you guys won’t see much point to it, but I was thinking, hey there are some communities which are just there for others to post stuff, r/videos, r/news for example, what would happen if bots started mirroring posts on reddit here? Is it legal?
This won’t help the low users problem, but this might help to make lemmy more desirable. Maybe If I want to see if a python question has been already asked or answered, I would just go to the python community here and search for it and the search results would include reddit results and stuff like that?
