Observation: Right now, if someone wants to find an answer to a question, they can type that question into Google and add “reddit” to the end. This usually provides the answer that someone is looking for. I have tried a few random searches with the addition of “lemmy” to the end, with no such results. As Google’s...
I’ve had a number of weird things happening in my life: I saw a UFO in the early 1990s, then I had an abduction experience in 2000, and at the age of 40, the lucid dreams started where I had a continuous interaction with these entities until 2018 (that’s when we had a fallout!). Is there a font that would be easy for me to read with practice (and maybe offer some benefits over Latin characters) but would be illegible to normal people reading over my shoulder?...
Can someone provide clarity on data ownership ? Can we make it so the data can’t be sold, monetized or used in any detrimental way towards society via an ELA?
Okay, so today I am at the zoo getting drunk and ogling animals, and after a long chat with one of the zookeepers, I am now forced to ask this question....
Like, we’re in an interesting era of times where so many alternatives are cropping up because of the drastic and draconic practices that have been taken on the social media platforms we’ve commonly embraced. But eventually, starting new can get tiring after a while.
I’m seeing the same front page for days, how can I go about changing what I’m seeing to see more active threads or is it just dead in my subscribed communities?
Wanting to profit from AI companies hunt for training data (over and above the community that created that data) is a big part of what created the context for the recent migration away from Reddit. How will the fediverse approach this problem?
