Is there a way to make Lemmy links open in a new browser tab?

I'd love to be able to click on a link and have it open in a new tab rather than in the current tab, without having to specifically right-click and tell it to do so. This was the behavior I had set up back on reddit, though I don't recall if that was a built-in feature or part of RES, and it makes browsing a lot more convenient.

Could I ask a favour

Been realizing that people from other instances can not find my community unless someone has searched for it with reference to this post https://lemmy.world/comment/1692 So could I ask anyone from instances other than lemmy.world and feddit uk to search for this community in the community search " !newmusic " once that is done...
