New Lemmy UI is pretty nice, right?
I think it has less bugs too. I really like how it functions.

Apparently Lemmy counts active users as users that have posted or commented, which means there’s quite a difference between total and active users. For Kbin, the difference is negligible. Does that mean that Kbin uses another formula for calculating active users?...
Edit: This has been resolved in the 0.18.1-rc update...
Hello Lemmy! Is it time for our own locked safe story? I found this old piggy bank in a second hand store in Sweden. No key, and there is a few coins in there by the sound of it....
As an introvert, I usually don’t have any problems being alone and not communicating with other people. I’m pretty sure many of you can relate on this....
I have a few dozen posts saved in my Reddit account. I’ve stopped using Reddit, but I would like to keep those posts.
One of the best features of Apollo IMO was the ability to hide read posts, so every time I launched the app, it was new content....
Is there a community to request the creation of other communities? Like, there’s a few topics that I’d like to discuss but it doesn’t seem like there have been any communities made for them yet, so is there a place where I can ask for those to be made? I only ask because moderating a community is a big time sink, otherwise...
This what I see when I try to access Lemmy.World. I did clear my cache since forever....
I don’t know any true Christians who are MAGA or racists or even bigots. But with the commonly used definition that if someone says something is bad they automatically are seen as hating the people doing it many people arguing in communities like that would be called haters or bigots and possibly be banned here on lemmy.world....
When a mod deletes a post on reddit, it just disappears from view. On Lemmy, is that the case, or is it actually deleted?

I've tried the web app, wefwef, Thunder, Lemming, Connect, Summit, Lemmur, Liftoff and Jerboa. Jerboa was the best so far but I'm using the 0.0.33 IzzyOnDroid version because of the issues with lemmy.world.
Lemmy’s all fine and dandy but without communities like r/depression it’s back to keeping everything in and hiding to cry for me because I can’t talk about how I feel irl and can’t afford therapy. There are probably billions of people in my case. I’d like to make a depression, or rather a more general “vent without...
Tomorrow I’m deleting my 12+ year Reddit account, but before that, I want to delete all my posts and comments. Are there any specific extension recommendations? I tried searching “nuke reddit history” but it’s not supported anymore/extension page is gone. There are also new bulk deleting extensions with no ratings that...
Users and communities can be blocked, but what if I want an entire instance gone?...
After setting up accounts on different Lemmy instances, I think it would be great for a new user to be able to easily subscribe to a bunch of communities without doing it one by one. It doesn’t strictly have to be curated; it could be top 50 posts count or whatever. You can then add or remove additional communities....
Personally I don't care about downvotes. If you don't be yourself on an anonymous platform, how can you be yourself in real life? Plus this makes all posts conform within the general trend rather than creating discussions and meaningful debates.
I'm still figuring things out. My account is on lemmy.world, and I noticed that when I browse /all, I see a lot of posts in communities that are on lemmynsfw, but if I go to lemmynsfw.com directly, most of those communities don't show. In fact, going directly, most of the posts on lemmynsfw actually look SFW - they're on...
I tend to at least look at every work email I receive. Likewise for Teams messages. If I see a notification of a new communication, I tend to check it and see if I need to respond. I don't always respond, but I always look at the message....
I've noticed that often Kbin.social posts show far fewer comments on Lemmy.world than if I go directly to Kbin. Eventually it seems to resync, which got me wondering: how often do Lemmy.world and Kbin.social (and/or other federated instances) sync with each other?
One concern I have with moving to Lemmy is the server upkeep costs. I realize that there is a donation option available to aid in server upkeep,...
I just put in three skip laurel bushes. I don’t want to kill them by crowding them, but I wanted to plant flowers around to make the empty area pretty. How close can I plant? What should I plant?
Feeling really shitty today. What meme makes you smile or laugh every time?
