Community Requests

Is there a community to request the creation of other communities? Like, there’s a few topics that I’d like to discuss but it doesn’t seem like there have been any communities made for them yet, so is there a place where I can ask for those to be made? I only ask because moderating a community is a big time sink, otherwise...

Do you think a community like r/TrueChristian or r/AskAChristian would be welcome on lemmy.world?

I don’t know any true Christians who are MAGA or racists or even bigots. But with the commonly used definition that if someone says something is bad they automatically are seen as hating the people doing it many people arguing in communities like that would be called haters or bigots and possibly be banned here on lemmy.world....

Anyone up for helping me create a depression community here?

Lemmy’s all fine and dandy but without communities like r/depression it’s back to keeping everything in and hiding to cry for me because I can’t talk about how I feel irl and can’t afford therapy. There are probably billions of people in my case. I’d like to make a depression, or rather a more general “vent without...

Tomorrow I’m deleting my 12+ year Reddit account, but before that, I want to delete all my posts and comments. Are there any specific extension recommendations? I tried searching “nuke reddit history” but it’s not supported anymore/extension page is gone. There are also new bulk deleting extensions with no ratings that...

It doesn’t strictly have to be curated; it could be top 50 posts count or whatever. You can then add or remove additional communities....

Why is lemmynsfw different when I go directly?

I'm still figuring things out. My account is on lemmy.world, and I noticed that when I browse /all, I see a lot of posts in communities that are on lemmynsfw, but if I go to lemmynsfw.com directly, most of those communities don't show. In fact, going directly, most of the posts on lemmynsfw actually look SFW - they're on...
