    Hmmm that is a great question! This answer is: It depends

    BUT, generally, Signal is my favorite when it is to communicate with someone who already knows my phone number, and Threema when it is someone who does not.

    That being said, there are quite a few other great E2EE encrypted messengers out there. One day I shall write an article that talk about more of them.
