@johnmclaren @gryphonEschmidt @bookstodon It’s a collection of personal essays with a relationship at the core, with a happy ending. Romance conventions say that the genre must contain a happily ever after, or happily for now ending, and the central plot must revolve around a relationship, so that’s my spin on it, that wasn’t what the publisher chose! :-)
