I've been brainwashed by social media.

I'm sitting here listening to mp3s ripped from an album I own.
I just thought "Man, I should give this a thumbs-up."
Um... what?
I did that already, I bought the CD way back in 1996.
I'm listening to local media stored on my hard drive.

I can't like and subscribe.
But it crossed my mind that I should.

So, yeah...
The album is Fashion Nugget. The artist is CAKE.
I love this CD.

I rip all the CDs I buy to mp3.
CDs are install discs for music. 🙂

@audreygwinter If I like it, I still try to buy it on CD.
I do buy video game soundtracks directly on Steam though, so I don't have everything on CD anymore.

In the past year I've bought three albums on CD.

Two were albums from The Midnight. (Monsters and Endless Summer)

The third was Thriller 40.

One of the last three CDs I wanted, I ordered directly from the band's website because I couldn't find it anywhere else.

The next CD I want, I'll probably have to do the same. It's $15 on the band's website and listed on Amazon by a third-party for $40.
