I think it’s an abomination. A paragon of waste and excess, and distilled selfishness. 9000 lb of hubris and projection. It’s way too wide, and way too tall, and carries 2.5× the kinetic energy of any other vehicle traveling at the same speed.
It’s not as derisible as the #IncelCamino, but it’s equally despicable in my eyes.
@4d3fect It’s got typical range: 311 miles EPA. They do this by including a GIGANTIC 205 kWh battery pack (almost double the Cybertruck), which accounts for 2800 lb of its weight.
Now, having a gigantic battery pack can be excellent for towing. But for the Hummer EV, the battery pack is just hauling around 6000 lb of luxury goods. It’s not a work truck, and most of the units sold won’t tow a single thing.
