@davidpmaurer For sure he can — and should — be able to do what he wants with the house and land he bought, and there weren't any legal protections or restrictions for this home. Some people are just sad that this building has been destroyed. In the article an architect suggests that the original property could have been modified and added to in interesting ways. Seems like a missed opportunity — but really none of our business!
