merileedkarr, 1 year ago My tomato plant is BLOOMING! On May 17th! That's a month (or two) earlier than normal. Why is it doing this? It's a grafted plant, and I added lots of chicken manure to the raised beds this spring. Grafted tomato? What? http://loghouseplants.com/plants/library/grafting/ (By the way, don't bother with grafted cucumber, pepper, or watermelon plants. They don't have a good rootstock yet.) #gardening #tomatoes #graftedtomatoes #veg
