I fucking HATE this trend of naming all these new social media sites such GENERIC bullshit names.

I'm struggling now to find an amazing thread detailing the history of Elon's "X.com" project from 1999 to today, simply because all the terms I use like "elon musk x.com thread mastodon" give me generic, news crap.

Does anyone know the thread I'm talking about? Surely I favorited it, but I can't find it now.
