With a lot of talk around new apps in development & coming on stream, something I’ve been happy to see, & commented on, as choice is always a good thing… I thought I’d just voice my appreciation for the Jerboa team, love this App, such nice Ui & UX, I find it very easy to use, all the view options, post layouts, especially...
As me and many others, you might have encountered the problem, that tapping on a comment in your inbox doesn't get you to the comment and it's context. However, you can actually directly jump from the comments inbox to the correct comment + context in the post....
Doesn't look anything like something i would click to submit a post
I've been playing around with Jerboa's UI trying to make it more consistent and readable
I have been playing around with the Jerboa UI to make it a bit more usable for my style....
If I was logged into several instances at once in the client and seeing the composite feed and then could choose instance when replying or posting (with some set default, like from: field in e-mail clients) lemmy.world could ban piracy all it wants and it’d still be in my feed without me having to leave it or change instances.
All the other viewing options such as subscribed or local seem to switch back to active. I am logged into my account and have subscriptions. Any ideas?
This was a feature that I fell in love with on Boost. I like to sort by top day and do short quick bursts of scrolling through the feed, so it helped a lot....
I can go back to the post, but it's hard to find my comment when there are many. And having my name not be highlighted makes it even harder.
Hey, just wondering if there's a way to change the default Lemmy instance the app uses.
Title. Basically the first press seems to do nothing but the second press actually subscribes. Why is this?
I'm on the assumption this is a Bug. I've made it so many links i have to other instances SHOULD open in the app by supporting those links. Instead it crashes the app upon clicking the link....
Wherever there are numbers in a post, they will be formatted as a link that will lead straight to the phone dialer app. In my opinion it is highly unlikely that people on Lemmy will share phone numbers on a regular basis and as such this behavior is confusing and of no use....
After I've been browsing for a while, I would like to be able to remove threads that I've already viewed from my feed because when Jerboa auto updates, it always sends me toward the top of my feed and then I have to scroll through a whole bunch of stuff again that I've already seen.
The perfect social media android experience, using Jerboa for ad free, federated, social media and Newpipe for ad free YouTube with a beautiful userface....
Android 12 fucking sucks. There's this new "feature" where you can no longer go into app defaults and manually define what urls can be opened by which apps. There are "verified links" now which means nothing other than your browser gets to open shit....
It would be nice if you could collapse a comment to hide all children, third make for easier scanning of high level comments without needing to scroll through all the replies....
When I click links in lemmy comments that explicitly include http in the url, the resulting page is always https. To me, the preferred behavior would be to default to https if no protocol is specified, but to respect the user’s preference if given....
With most links it goes to the browser version which plays within Jerboa, but with YouTube video links it always takes me away to the YouTube app. Can it not do that please? Thanks
When you click on an image and double tap to zoom, it zooms to the microscopic level or is it just me?
