My rocket club incorporated as 501(c)3 this year, but we can not get a sales tax exemption in the state, since our educational activity does not fit their definitions. Even though we have a lot of trainings and launches for aerospace students and engineers at the university and many colleges. While at the same time the boy scouts qualify for the exemption... But yes, German bureaucracy can be a special kind of joy.
