@EgyptianAphorist @jalcine As somebody who struggled in school even with many advantages, I can only imagine the brains and tenacity of those grads.

Think of how much human potential we are wasting with our absurd level of incarceration. How much further could we be as a society if we didn’t have 1.2 million people behind bars?

Thus they have the best starting conditions given the prison system in the USA as-is.
