I am sure Mastodon is designed to not leakm and wonerful upgrades all the time. But security is NOT Mastodon's big code assurance, commications is. Dont think of Mastodon as secure, its a moderated non commercial lets-do-this project of volunteers. Hidden links are allowed, no more secure than an email link.
