@vol4life8657@gocu54 I already pre-ordered it on PlayStation. Not a fan of the DUalsense bugs though, I have the controller option off and it's still coming through there.
@Orinks@gocu54 I have it on xbox. I think I would prefer the PS 5 controler, but not being able to hear the screen reader through my hdeasets, is not good.

@vol4life8657@jessiepp@Orinks@gocu54 NRS has finally figured out that they have one successful IP which is Mortal Kombat trillogy, and so now they are just remaking it endlessly: MK9, MK Arcade Collection, Mortal Kombat: the movie, the plot of MK11, and now Mortal Kombat 1! I'm fine with this BTW, I have a lot of love for MKT. But whenever they try and draw outside those lines, things get inevitably too weird and they have to reset everything.
@objectinspace@vol4life8657@jessiepp@gocu54 MKT story wise is... well, nothing really. It was successful because it was in arcades. I know they retold it in MK9 but I guess MK1 makes it no longer canon now. Unless they do some weird timeline merge thing.
@Orinks@vol4life8657@jessiepp@gocu54 What I mean is that the period NRS is most known for is MK1 and MK2, and to a lesser extent UMK3. Since then their most successful games have been the ones that repackage those for a modern audience. It's just that now they've stopped trying to do anything else.
@objectinspace@vol4life8657@jessiepp@gocu54 I think BlazBlue has the best story in a fighting game but it's not a lot of people's style because Anime. Much longer than any of the three MK stories in 9-11.
