Today my 11yo, who has two broken arms, managed to get his finger stuck in a outdoor bench that has finger-sized holes. Luckily we got his finger out after a couple of tense minutes. My wife and I were both horrified. I swear we aren’t bad parents, he’s just REALLY crazy. You’d think a bike accident, two broken arms, one hard cast, one splint, missing soccer season, etc, would be enough motivation to just chill and play it cool. NOPE! Not for him.
@Zak8022 Kids at that age just have insane amounts of energy, it's terrifying at times...So honestly, I think you're fine parents with an energetic kid that can't sit still yet.
