Finally put into words what has subconsciously been bothering me with #GNOMEWeb's tabs behavior:
fluchtkapsel, 8 months ago @nekohayo I have added some extensions in Chromium and Firefox that change their tab behaviour but AFAICT at least Chromium focusses the tab on the left of the closed tab. But I will check it tomorrow.
