I like to think I’m not competitive but it is otherwise difficult to explain why I have done 12k xp on #Duolingo this week to stay ahead of a guy called Said who most likely doesn’t even know I exist.
@ottocrat@SeanJones I made a decision to not care about the leagues. I’d got to the point I was grinding for points instead of working through the exercises.
@craiggrannell@SeanJones Same here. I was using the morning and evening multipliers to grind legendary levels in languages I already speak just to maintain my league position. Gah. So glad I found out how to turn that off.
