@janl@Odaeus I've been doing something similar in Europe for my sailing trips. Usually using a courier service to send the big heavy bags home whilst traveling unburdened on train or plane myself.
Last time I’ve used europacco.com but I'm sure more of these must exist. Would actually be great to have a list of such services/companies in EU.
@Odaeus@janl I only found out about takkyu-bin halfway through our trip earlier this year, and didn't realise how easy it was until reading Craig's email last night. Now I want to go back to Japan again please.
