@dmclap Because it’s two shortcuts (one just for the silent toggling, because I call it in two spots), I thought it would be easier to just post screenshots. I’ll add links to iCloud though.
@gruber downloaded these two short cuts into 15 Pro, also installed Actions app prior... when quick press of the action button, on screen suggestion tell me to press longer to silence the ringer. It did not bring up the Camera app. Reboot iPhone, still the same. Am I missing something?
@gruber That works too! I just haven't played around with shortcuts enough to know how one manages things like branching on the faceup/facedown state, so I was curious how that looked in practice
@gruber this is brilliant and I made in-house-IT* put it on my phone immediately. I love it already.
*the local IT department is just @johngrogg who I appreciate putting up with my shenanigans and occasionally looking at my various devices to make them work because I am Not Great at Technology
@daringfireball Funny how a tiny thing can change your view on a feature. I didn’t think it would be of much use, but if I can attach conditions it actually opens up a slew of things it can do.
Neat. Have to try it out when I get the new phone.
