@chidgey I’ve been procrastinating this process for more than two years. Following some previous renovations I still have patches of bare concrete, lino and duct taped carpet 😄
@rusl We bought some 25-year guaranteed click together flooring just under 2 years ago. I started peaking and rippling about 1 year ago. We’ve been back and forth with the manufacturer and the installer for nearly 9 months trying to get it replaced under warranty. Finally…it’s happening.
@chidgey Yikes. I’m thinking about “hybrid laminate” flooring when i eventually get around to it. Was your click flooring wood-backed and it absorbed moisture?
@rusl No it was Hybrid. Supposedly 25 yr warranty and 100% waterproof. It was packed in too tight according to the manufacturer but it was a bad batch according to the installer.
@rusl I also have some duct tape holding bits together and to stop people kicking their feet on the high points. I’m switching to Vinyl Plank instead. Hopefully it will fare better.
