As we have stated, @mastohost has reached out and said they will look into restoring a backup if the admins contact them. Mastohost say that the admin team have not made a single contact since we started campaigning for a restoration after the shutdown happened over 10 hours earlier than expected.
Within a couple hours on 7 Oct we were saying it needs to be restored.
This is the last time I am saying this the instance cannot be restored, if we get more funding we would like to set up an activism instance based on a different codebase, but the chance we can reuse the existing database is near zero, the content is thus lost.

They said that they would look into it. Why avoid that courtesy. We just need our database entries. It will not be more than 20Mb.
All that is needed is a word to @mastohost do try and help out a long term ally.
Just ask them to help us. You do not need to be involved.
