Ok, that's weird. I have two different sizes of cursors depending on what part of the window it's hovering over (kwin_wayland).

And there are no XWayland windows open, which I made sure of by killing XWayland

charadon,

@RL_Dane There's some environment variable you have to set to get cursors right...

This is why i'm just gonna wait until Xfce or Mate finish their wayland ports lol

@charadon

Mate is switching to Wayland?

Color me impressed.
Color me Wimpressed. ;)

charadon,

@RL_Dane Yeah, both xfce and mate's wayland progress is steady as she goes. Should be done in couple years probably.

Huh, really? I have a different size cursor in native wayland apps like foot and in apps that are either through xwayland or use GTK or QT and I have no idea what's up with it. I assume it's something related to NixOS since I didn't have this issue on Fedora with sway.

I didn't have this issue until I switched to kwin_wayland, and I don't get why it's happening. :/

@RL_Dane
No idea either. My guess is some sort of out-of-date package on Debian?

RL_Dane,

@benjaminhollon

This is on . All very up-to-date.

@RL_Dane
Oh whoops. I thought you were back on Debian.

@benjaminhollon

That's on my thinkpad. My LG Gram and PinebookPro are Endeavour

benjaminhollon,
@benjaminhollon@fosstodon.org avatar

@RL_Dane
Ahhhhhh. I guess then that's the one using KDE?

No wait since you were talking about rofi-wayland not being available in Debian.

RL_Dane,
@RL_Dane@fosstodon.org avatar

@benjaminhollon

Well, I'm experimenting with Wayland on both machines. All three, actually:
LG Gram - Endeavour
Thinkpad - Debian
Pinebook Pro - Endeavour

benjaminhollon,
@benjaminhollon@fosstodon.org avatar

@RL_Dane
So Sway then is on Debian and Pinebook Pro?

RL_Dane,

@benjaminhollon

Right, sway on the more humble machines, KDE Plasma on the 17" BBQ
