After Canada got Universal Healthcare we experienced a 78% drop in deaths from heart disease and stroke between the 1950’s and now. When it doesn’t cost you to talk to a doctor about your health you are more likely to seek care when you need it. Privatizing healthcare will reverse the trend to better health. @Gordarnit I live in a mentally ill nation that prioritizes profits in healthcare so much that when you arrive at the ER with a concussion, staff charged with collecting money will badger you for healthcare information. If you have none, they may choose to treat you, but it's likely going to bankrupt you b/c they bill based on what insurers pay in our corrupt system, not actual costs. $500 for an aspirin? Sure.
