Look, I don't CW a lot of things I see other people CW. We can all choose what we want to CW or not, but what's the point about moaning about people choosing to use them?
@james Use CWs all you want. The issue is people telling me to use them, for the vaguest of reasons. Self discretion doesn’t work, someone somewhere will always find something offensive. We all have different tolerance levels, but content warning everything is just needless self-censorship.
@dusnm people can ask you to use one. You can decline. It's that easy. People ask you things all the time, sometimes you say no. It's not difficult. I don't always acquiesce when people ask for CWs on certain things.
Sure, at the risk of randomly seeing pictures of gore/war crimes
/whatever, because you auto-opened anything.
Not gonna take a position on the whole CW debate, but as a solution to the issue it's obviously subpar.
