For all of you who 'don't like Mondays '
Good morning 🌞
Take up crochet it's very therapeutic!
With that thought today's offering for you is another crochet 🧶 mug 🥰🥰
Hope everyone is having a good start to the day and it just keeps getting better 😁😁
@DoubleTreble
Quite interesting 😂
The recruitment lady focussed and awful lot on the fact that I have not had a paid job for years and seemed to look for ways to make me proof that I am ready for it. Whilst as for suitability for the job I got like 2 questions 🙄
But she called me an hour ago, and basically admitted that they went wrong in their approach. So I will get a new interview with two new persons. They keep it very exciting this way 😂😂
@DoubleTreble and she also basically admitted that it's not up to them to decide if I am ready, and that only I can make the best educated guess on that.
So all in all, the interview of friday was very unprofessional, but I appreciate that they owned up to their mistakes and will now arrange a proper job interview for me 😊
@DoubleTreble
They actually resceduled to yesterday afternoon, and this morning I got a call that
I. Got. The. Job. 🥳🥳🥳
Feeling a bit over the moon and still can't really believe it! It was my very first interview after practically been out of the running since 2017.
Although I did do a lot of volunteering, but still.
And it's also a job at an employer that I chose after many weeks of careful consideration. What I thought and felt would fit me best at this point. Feeling #grateful 🙏
@DoubleTreble
Yeah and the funny thing is I did not even apply for it.
Just sounded like a very interesting job so I thought I'd give the recruiter a call to ask some questions about it. And some he could not answer without my ressume so I was like sure I will e-maill you no problem!
And two weeks later he called me, like we are interested in you for this job, are you open for an interview?
Well you know how that first round went 😂😂😂
But their 2nd try was perfect 👌😉
@DoubleTreble
I start in feb btw. I don't know how that is like in England but over here when you go and work for a big international company they need to do all kinds of checks on you.
Like speak to former employers if you are really honestly not a shit show employee lol, make sure you're not a criminal etc etc etc.
And we are nearing Xmas so there is no way they get that all done before new year.
But feb was actually my preference too. I want to properly end my volunteering work.
@Krisss
It's pretty much the same in UK, re security checks! I'm no longer looking for work but even for volunteering we have to get certain checks done!
February gives you plenty time to get used to the idea!
Oh! And BTW
