She didn’t say, “Oh you mustn’t give up!” and she understood what I meant when I said I just wanted to do hands-on research as was questioning whether I really wanted to write a thesis. Morning! I’m having so much trouble getting to sleep since I changed my med timings. I was up until 1am again last night, even a sleep meditation didn’t do the trick. Still I had nothing particular to get up for, so I slept until 9am. Social worker coming round this afternoon, I can tell her that I’m much improved and probably don’t need her anymore - but! I want to ensure I can get timely support if things go bad again! What’s on your agenda?

Awake early for a change bc I am in so much pain that I could chew thru my own intestines, but I can't bend that far. I just took OTC pain meds, but this is ridiculous. I can't be on pain meds 24/7, I might as well just give up and put a bullet thru my brain (also not an option, the sight of blood makes me puke).
There must be SOMEthing people do to distract themselves? What? Pick fights with the cat? (Not recommended, he has WAY more pointy fings). UGH.
I went out and managed to Peloton 30 min walk and run, the walks seemed really long but then in the second half the pace of the run intervals really shot up. I managed it but I’ve just got in and I’m panting hard. The trail was super muddy and slippery. Glad I did it though! #running

It was good. I finally got a call back from a job I applied at 3 weeks ago. And they hired me. Well my husband got the call & relayed the message to me. Finally some good news.
Update on job news: I actually got a call from the Masonic Temple in Detroit. I put my application in there about 3 weeks ago. They called & said I got the job. Yay!!
