5/ I have always attributed this massive gap in our healthcare system to a very dated systemic assumption that ppl with disabilities are not sexual and that we won’t live long enough to get cancer. There’s also a systemic bias that disabled people are grouped in one area or in a single institution and thus are someone else’s problem - laughable because people who do live in long-term care have a harder time accessing routine #gynecology care. #healthcare#healthequity#accessibiliy
